Accessibility Statement - Catapult

Last updated: July 2026

Catapult Contemporary is committed to making our website, catapult-platform.art, accessible to as many people as possible, including visitors with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities. While we are not legally required to publish an accessibility statement (as a small, independent publication we fall under the microenterprise exemption for services under Austria's Barrierefreiheitsgesetz / the EU Accessibility Act), we believe accessibility is good practice and are working towards it voluntarily.

Conformance Status

We aim for our website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by EN 301 549. This is a goal we are actively working towards rather than a certified or formally audited status. The site has not yet undergone a full third-party accessibility audit.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Known and possible limitations include:

  • Some embedded third-party video content (YouTube, Vimeo) may not include complete captions or transcripts, as these are controlled by the original content creators.
  • Some images may be missing complete alternative text descriptions.
  • Some color contrast combinations may not fully meet AA-level requirements in all areas of the site.
  • Some interactive elements (forms, embeds) provided by third-party tools (e.g. our contact form, cookie consent banner) depend on those providers' own accessibility standards.

We are working to identify and fix these issues over time.

Third-Party Content

Our site includes content and tools provided by third parties (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, Google Fonts, Cloudflare Turnstile, Stripe). We cannot guarantee the accessibility of content or interfaces that are not directly under our control, but we choose providers that generally follow accessibility best practices where possible.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of catapult-platform.art. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know:

We try to respond to accessibility feedback within a reasonable timeframe and will take it into account as we continue to improve the site.

Preparation of This Statement

This statement was prepared in July 2026 based on a self-assessment of the site, without a formal automated or expert audit. We plan to review and update it periodically as the site evolves.
