In Lovehound in a Guitar Shaped Sarcophagus ?, two stacked orange-washed fabric panels lettered M and A are crossed by dark wood-and-brass rails, with small metal charms, including a horse and a skull, set along the rails like beads on a bracelet.

A Walk, a narrower panel numbered 9, carries its own charm, a small brass charm beside the dark wood strip. Across both works, orange-washed fabric lets faint figures and stenciled markings surface through the weave. Below, curator Marianna Łomża explains why.

Silly! Devil! doesn't care much for common sense and slips through the cracks where reveries contradict themselves

In her little shapeshifting reality nothing settles but everything flirts. Unfolds like an overfilled charm bracelet according to the logic of play. Mornings start with AI Jungian dream interpretations
Contents: mischief / omens / dream residue
Like every trickster, she delights in mixing and collecting. Every ornament quietly auditions for the role of a talisman
Desire twinkles. Sincerity might be just a performance
Some swear such a spirit's a Devil!
Others think blind luck is to blame

Intuition outruns certainty and decorative excess becomes its own form of knowledge
Silly! Devil! never asks whether something
is true... only whether it sparkles

Amelia Woroszyl (b. 2001 Warsaw, Poland) uses painting, text and object creation in her art practice. She seeks to capture and convey the poetics of dreams and memory, being interested in states where contexts and places dissolve into one another, preventing the definitive cognition of reality. Scenes introduced by her operate with everyday objects and materials, which are extended through repetition and personal symbolism.
Crum Heaven is a café, bar and gallery on Högbergsgatan 38 in Södermalm, Stockholm.
Marianna Lomza’s (b. 1998, Warsaw, Poland) curatorial practice revolves around the human obsession with control. It examines the ways we attempt to impose order on that which, by its very nature, resists containment. Her interests include games, rituals, language, and symbols – systems of rules through which we attempt to master time, desire, and chance.
